I am a certified Professional Life Coach, trained and credentialed by International Christian Coaching Institute, Healing Thine Hearts Ministries and Light University USA.
As a Professional Life Coach, my mission is to empower the youth and young adults to make wise life choices, equipping them for success in their education, career, and mission. My vision is to see them ascend life's challenges and fulfill their God-given potential.
I am passionate about engaging in new and groundbreaking projects, whether by intentional choice or divine appointment.
With an analytical mindset and the spiritual gifts of wisdom, teaching, and administration, I help Christian institutions and individuals take the practical steps needed to succeed and flourish.
My. Story.
Life Experiences that shaped My Calling as a Life Coach.
After completing V.W.O. at Maria Immaculata Lyceum in Curaçao, I took the bold step of faith and moved to the USA to pursue higher education. I still vividly remember arriving from my sunny Caribbean Island to Buffalo NY on a very cold and snowy January day… It was a huge transition and challenge - but one that I embraced and conquered!
I went on to earn a B.Sc. degree in Biochemical Pharmacology from State University of New York at Buffalo and a M.Sc. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the State University of Illinois at Chicago.
I served as a full-time Missionary with Operation Mobilization (OM) from 2006 - 2014. My journey began on the mission ship MV Logos 2, followed by 2 years on the MV Logos Hope, as part of its pioneering multi-cultural crew. Later, I returned to Curaçao to serve for four years as a local missionary, mobilizing churches and sending out missionaries from the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao). Missionary life was both rewarding and stretching… I conquered – and learned invaluable lessons that continue to guide my life and coaching practice today!
I am passionate about the work to bring awareness to and educate the youth and young adults on issues of emotional, spiritual, and sexual health.
I actively serve in two non-profit Foundations: as Co-founder and Vice-President of the Abstinence till Marriage (ATM) Foundation, where I have also held roles of Secretary and as President since 2010; as Secretary of The Fig Tree Training Institute Foundation, a ministry dedicated to coaching and lay counseling training, since its founding in 2017.
Over the years, I have spoken to thousands of teenagers and young adults – in schools, churches and community institutions - bringing awareness and empowering them through one-on-one mentoring and group settings. My mission has always been to raise awareness, encourage wise choices, and inspire young people to conquer life’s challenges!
On a more personal note…
I enjoy arts, crafts and doodling. I love to travel and explore new cultures and exotic foods! I have visited more than
50 countries and territories. One of my quirks is that I'll try almost any edible food at least once! I also love reading and listening to podcasts on spiritual formation. Romans 5:5 is a daily anchor. It reminds me not to rely solely on my own strength or wisdom but to trust in the love of God, which empowers me to serve with compassion, patience, and joy.
